Drawing a crowd with the world's largest LCD TV

Trident, which supplies TVs to the hospitality industry, has added Sharp's new 65in LCD model to its portfolio.

The LC-65GD1E is the world's largest LCD TV and on sheer size alone it makes an unforgettable impact. The 65in screen delivers a full high definition resolution at 1920 x 1080, which Trident says ensures that it can display digital content in high definition format exactly as it is broadcast.

In a sporting year that includes World Cup Football, the Winter Olympics and World Athletics Championships, the TV is ideal for any venue planning to draw a crowd during these events.

The LC-65GD1E also incorporates a built-in iDTV 'Freeview' tuner and is supplied with a separate AV centre that houses a PC card slot in addition to a range of inputs and outputs including component, SCART and PC.

Trident, part of the Abacus Group, is a leading UK technical franchised distributor of displays, interface kits, single board computers, panel PCs, printers and card readers. It also specializes in assembling and manufacturing custom built embedded systems.

It operates in most markets including industrial, retail, public information, marine, hospitality, transport, multi-media kiosks, EPOS, broadcast, security, defence and medical hardware.
